As a photographer for the past fourteen years, I have been able to grow a successful six-figure business in two different cities without all of the overhead of a studio or client wardrobe or ever paying for advertising or being at the top of the SEO charts. I believe running a business doesn’t have to be complicated and I know what discerning clients are looking for.

I have a passion for teaching others and am an open book when it comes to my business. I want to share how I’ve grown my business to what it is today and how to find your ideal clients and expand your business while keeping things simple and easy.

in-person mentorship experience

The perfect opportunity for both experienced and brand-new photographers who want a hands-on, personalized approach to growing their photography business.

This mentorship includes three intentional parts:

  1. In-Person Styled Shoot
    We’ll meet for a fully planned and styled shoot on location. This session is an opportunity to observe my approach to lighting, posing, and client interaction in real-time. A short window will be provided for you to capture portfolio building shots, but the focus is primarily on watching and learning. You can plan for approximately two hours to include time before the shoot going over scouting the location and light, and time afterwards to wrap up with a debrief after the session.

  2. Zoom Editing Session
    A few days following the shoot, we’ll hop on a Zoom session to walk through my culling and editing process using images from the session. This is a chance to apply what you’ve learned and ask questions about workflow, editing style, and post-production strategy. Will also have you submit a few images of yours from the shoot that you'd like to see edited. We will be screen sharing over Zoom for up to 60 minutes.

  3. One-on-One Q&A Call
    After you’ve had a few days to digest all we’ve gone over in the mentorship, you’ll get a private one hour one-on-one call to ask me anything—whether it's about pricing, marketing, working with dream clients, branding, client experience, or anything else you're navigating in your business. This call is completely tailored to you.

The first two parts of the mentorship—the styled shoot and Zoom editing session—may include one or two other mentees, depending on location. I intentionally keep these sessions small and personal, with a maximum of three photographers, so everyone gets individual attention in a relaxed, supportive environment. The final part of the mentorship is a private one-on-one phone call to deep dive into your specific needs.

This mentorship is ideal for both experienced and brand-new photographers who are looking for answers. Whether you need to know how to book more clients, work with dream clients, communicate more efficiently, provide a better client experience, charge more or start at the very beginning - these sessions will help you figure out what your next steps are to grow or start your photography business.

Q&A portion followed by your choice of phone or Zoom call, each session is approximately 60 minutes and can be done at one time or spread out over multiple days.

zoom editing

This session is for the photographer trying to figure out how to get consistent and beautiful edits. We will work together to go over workflow, profiles, camera settings and Lightroom and Photoshop tips and tricks to help hone in on your ideal editing style by working on RAW files together from start to finish.

We will be screen sharing over Zoom for approximately 60 minutes.

This is for the photographer who is looking to find their niche and elevate their portfolio and branding with an in-depth review and recommendations to make sure you are targeting your ideal client through your website and social media presence.

Q&A portion followed by screen sharing over Zoom for approximately 60 minutes.

 The information in these sessions are not to be recorded or shared in any way.

A non-refundable deposit of 50% is due upon booking. This reserves your session and goes towards your total balance. The remaining balance is due on the date of your session.

If the maximum time allowed is met and you would like to continue, additional time may be provided upon both parties acceptance at a rate of $300 per thirty minutes.
